Saudi Re is plans to offering among others Sharia-compliant reinsurance products. Moreover, Saudi Re will also ensure that the investments of the assets related to this part of the business are made in Sharia-compliant securities. There has been an increasing acceptance of insurance among Muslims especially Takaful insurance and providing of Islamic reinsurance products will enhance direct insurers value proposition to Islamic markets as well.
