In addition to the Chief Executive Officer, the Company has appointed Managers to head its various operations and service Units. A brief description of the Senior Management Team follows:
 Fahad Abdulrahman Al-Hesni, MD/CEO, joined Saudi Re in Jan 2011 brining to Saudi Re more than seventeen years of proven experience within the insurance industry in various streams which includes Marketing & Sales and Technical.
Prior to joining Saudi Re, Mr. Al-Hesni had worked in Tawuniya since 1994 and progressed to various leadership roles. The last position was the Vice President-Property & Casualty in Tawuniya, where he lead the strategic business unit of Property and Casualty for nearly five years being responsible for Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Compliance, Quality Assurance and Business Development.
Mr. Fahad received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from King Saud University in 1991, and also holds a masters degree in Insurance & Risk Management from City University, UK in 1999. He is a Chartered Insurer (ACII) since 2001.
 Andreas Bollmann, Chief Underwriting Officer, joined Saudi Re in March 2011. Before that, Andreas has been with Swiss Re for 12 years and brings with him a very diverse experience in international reinsurance. He held various senior management positions at Swiss Re, the most recent ones being Head of Swiss Re Korea Branch and Head of Public Sector Business Development Team Asia.
Andreas has an academic background in Economics and Japanese, having studied at Duisburg University in Germany and Kansai University in Japan.
 Sami Sayegh, Business Unit Manager – Facultative, is responsible for developing and managing the facultative reinsurance portfolio in the MENA region. Sami has come to Saudi Re with over 20 years of experience in the reinsurance, insurance and brokerage industry in Canada, having worked with such companies as FM Global, Chubb, Aon, and Paris Re – where he was Vice President – Facultative, responsible for the Canadian market.
Sami holds a Masters degree in Engineering obtained from Concordia University, Montreal, and has completed extensive training in insurance and management practices at several institutions including the Mc Gill University Executive Institute and the Canadian Management Centre.
 Khaled Sayed,
Business Unit Manager - Treaty is holding a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Arts in General Insurance. He is Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (London). He is also a Chartered Insurer.
Khaled has 22 years of experience in the reinsurance industry. Currently, he is Head of Treaty Unit at Saudi Re. He previously worked for Egypt Re as GCC Dept. Manager, and, for the African Reinsurance Corporation as the African Oil and Aviation Insurance Pools Manager. His last position before joining Saudi Re was a Director at Aon Benfield.
Khaled has authored a number of published articles relating to several Insurance Issues a part of the Egyptian Government campaign to raise insurance awareness in Egypt.
Isa Ali, born in 1975, is the Head of the Company’s IT Department. He worked for Arab Insurance Group (ARIG) for 9 years prior to joining Saudi Re in February 2009; his last position at ARIG was Manager-Systems Development, which involved leading multiple projects including Reinsurance Management System implementations and support.
Mr. Ali received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Bahrain. He is also a PRINCE2 certified IT project manager and holds a Master’s Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from George Washington University.(USA)
Nilmin Pieries: Financial Controller - As the head of finance Nilmin is responsible for the financial reporting, technical accounting and management accounting functions of the company. Nilmin has gained extensive experiences working in various senior finance roles within reinsurance & insurance industry for over 20 years in diverse markets including Sri Lanka, Bahrain & United Kingdom.
Nilmin is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (UK) and he holds an MBA obtained from University of Nottingham in the UK.
 Adil El Shiekh, Compliance Manager, received his Bachelor degree In Accounting in 1987 from Cairo University, Khartoum . He has over 23 years’ experience in accounting and auditing industry .
He holds a Masters Degree in Accounting & Finance from Sudan University of Science & Technology in addition to a professional Fellowship Certificate and membership in Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA), and CME-1 from Capital Market Authority(Saudi Arabia).
